I think ole Mother Nature just likes Model Ts. Remember
how gloomy, cold and hazy it was on Saturday? Mother Nature was
frowning. But on Sunday, Mom smiled and we had a spectacular
day, sunshine, cool clear blue sky, and visibility unlimited.
Little nippy but the Ts loved it, cool radiators all around.
10 Ts and 1 A showed up at Rancho Shopping Center in
Los Altos to make the trek to the Waterfront Restaurant at Petes
Harbor in Redwood City. They love to see our last chance tour,
cause we fill up half the dining room with our hungry T drivers.
At the harbor, we found 4 more Ts from the northern reaches
waiting for us, and 1 lil ole Nash. We fielded a total of 34
folk for breakfast. Now the question is, where do you sit to
get served first. After years of careful study, I got it right
this time, and contrary to what some
folks thought, there were no bribes to the waiters, this was
a scientific conclusion based on years of empirical data.
Food was good, we had birthday cake (Mark Edwards), kicked tires
and putted on home. Great day for Model Ting. Aren't you
glad we don't live in Kansas or Illinois or New York? This is
just a popular tour every year, thanks to Chuck Christensen for
setting it up.
