Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club

Moffitt Field Museum Tour
February 2010

It was a dark and cloudy morning on February 27, 2010. We had a group of 6 Model T’s, and a few modern cars meet at Rancho shopping center at 9 am. At this point there was some blue sky to be seen, but still a lot of black and grey as well. We left Rancho and headed on to Bob Edwards’ house for coffee and donuts. Along with coffee and donuts, Bob also showed the group around and pointed out some things he would be selling at his garage sale on April 24th and 25th. Before leaving Bob’s house, 3 Model A’s and a few more modern cars joined the group. After everyone was warmed up, and full of coffee, we headed south to Moffett Field where we met up with a TT truck and a few other members already there. We broke up into two groups, each with a knowledgeable docent. After the tour was over, and before the rain, the group went its separate ways. Some went into town for lunch, while others headed home. Other than a few people getting a little rain after lunch, it was a dry tour. A good time was had by all.
