is the "Hat Lady" Trudi Wallick. March 25 (Thursday) SCVMTFC Endurance Run Meeting. This meeting takes place at the Maridon room and starts at 7:30 PM. March 27 (Saturday) Calistoga Classics Revisited. On the 35th anniversary of the last official running of the Calistoga Classics dirt track for Model Ts, Ed Archer and others will be bringing back old memories, memorabilia, photos and especially old movies. This will be a breakfast meeting with 25 mile tour to the Ainsley House in Campbell. MayMay 1 & 2 (Saturday & Sunday) Speedster Run Just for Fun, Salinas 4 Bangers. May 7 - 9 (Friday - Sunday), SCVMTFC Overnight Camping Tour at Lake Del Valle in Livermore. We have reserved a group site called Wild Turkey for Friday May 7 at 2:00 PM until Sunday May 9 at 12 noon. The site has its own parking for 15 cars, bathrooms with flush toilets and showers just across the road. The river that feeds the lake is next to the campsite so it can lull you to sleep. May 8 (Saturday) The SCVMTFC has been invited to attend the Wings of History Open House and Fly-in at South County Airport in San Martin. We will meet behind the Shell Station on Blossom Hill Road and Almaden Expressway at 8:45 AM and leave at 9:00 AM. Contact Allan Greenberg (408)997-0879 if you can attend. May 16 (Sunday) Friendship Day at Canada College in Redwood City hosted by the Mid Peninsula Old Time Auto Club. The gates open at 8:00 AM. Fee to enter auto is $15. May 31 (Monday) The SCVMTFC has been invited to participate in the Blossom Valley Memorial Day Parade. We will meet at Vista Park (corner of Hyde Park Drive and New Compton Drive in San Jose) at 10:00 AM. The parade starts at 11:00 AM. There will be costume judging. New pre ’16 Horseless Carriage classes this year with separate judging and awards for 1 & 2 cylinder cars, pre ’16 Model T Fords and all other pre’16 cars. This event starts at 7:00 AM at Stanford. July 25 (Sunday) The SCVMTFC has been invited to bring some antique autos to the grand opening of the Hill House on the grounds of History San Jose. The event starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. July 25 (Sunday) Vintage Vehicle & Family Festival, a Museum of American Heritage fund raiser in Palo Alto will celebrate the history of the Ford Motor Company. This annual event is located at the El Camino Park, 100 El Camino Real in Palo Alto. A donation of $20 per vehicle is appreciated. To enter, you need to complete a registration form. AugustAugust 1 -6 (Sunday - Friday) MTFCA Western National Tour will be held in and around Whitefish Montana, hosted by the Rocky Mountain Model T Club. Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Miracle of America Museum in Polson, Lake Koocanusa, Canada and Eureka. August 15 (Sunday) Date is tentative. SCVMTFC tour to the Hanna House which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1936 for Stanford Professor Paul Hanna and his wife, Jean. Contact is Gary Hagen, 408-848-2141. The program for this meeting is "recap and discussion of the National Tour in Montana". SeptemberSeptember 12 (Sunday) 10th Annual Antique Autos in History Park. This event presented by the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club and History San Jose takes place at History Park, 1650 Senter Road in San Jose, CA. Antique vehicles that existed or would have existed prior to 1946 are welcome. The Park is open to the public from noon to 5:00 PM. It is free to participants and visitors.
