AugustAugust 1 -6 (Sunday - Friday) MTFCA Western National Tour will be held in and around Whitefish Montana, hosted by the Rocky Mountain Model T Club. Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Miracle of America Museum in Polson, Lake Koocanusa, Canada and Eureka. August 20 (Friday) SCVMTFC General Meeting. The Maridon Room is unavailable. The meeting will take place at Harrell Remodeling, 1954 Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View, The program for this evening is "tales of the National Tour in Whitefish, MT". August 21 (Saturday) SCVMTFC "Over the Hill Tour". Meet at Rancho Shopping Center at 8:45 AM and leave at 9:00 AM. (Alternate: Meet up at 10:00 AM at the intersection of Hwy 84 and Skyline. SeptemberSeptember 6 (Monday) The SCVMTFC has been invited to bring our antique autos to the Calvary Church Grill and Chill Car Show. The Church is at 16330 Los Gatos Blvd. in Los Gatos and it is requested that we arrive by 10:00 AM to register. The event ends at 4:00 PM. If you can attend, please contact Allan Greenberg (408)997-0879. September 12 (Sunday) 10th Annual Antique Autos in History Park. This event presented by the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club and History San Jose takes place at History Park, 1650 Senter Road in San Jose, CA. Antique vehicles that existed or would have existed prior to 1946 are welcome. The Park is open to the public from noon to 5:00 PM. It is free to participants and visitors. The Board will meet at Bob Edwards' home and starts at 7:30 PM. September 17 (Friday) SCVMTFC General Meeting. The meeting takes place at the Maridon Room, 464 N. Winchester Blvd (just north of Winchester and Newhall) in Santa Clara and starts at 7:30 pm. The program for this meeting is a talk by Ed and Karen Archer on music and dance from the Model T era. OctoberOctober 2 (Saturday) Tiffany Ford will host a "Breast Cancer Awareness" day at the showroom at 300 Gateway Drive in Hollister. The event will start at 10:00 AM with coffee and donuts. At 10:30 AM, Vicky Wildman will conduct a class "This Lady Drives a Model A". Every woman who completes the class will receive a patch and certificate. The fee for the class is $5.00. More information to follow. October 3 (Sunday) SCVMTFC Tour to Living History Day at Rengstorff House in Mountain View. A free event. Experience a variety of Victorian activities such as crafts, games, household chores, dress up for Victorian photo, there will be presentations, displays, nature hikes, and much more.
